Fresco of the Flora of Stabiaereproduction of the original preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, found together with those of Diana the huntress, Medea and Leda.

The fresco, dating back to the 1st century, was found in Villa Arianna di Stabiae under the rubble of the eruption of the Vesuvius which he buried Pompeii ed Herculaneum in 79 AD, portrays the Goddess Flora (or Spring), with her back turned as she collects flowers and maintains a kalathos on a bright green background . The Goddess of spring, flowers and flowering, represented for the ancient romans also a protection for women in childbirth.
