Reproduction of the fresco of the  “Tomb of the Diver  ,  480-470 BC, Archaeological Museum of Poor .

The Tomb of the Diver is an artifact of the funerary art of the Great Greece  of significant historical-artistic value, one of the very few examples of painting Greek  figurative non-vascular. The image of the diver forms the internal decoration of the cover plate of a tomb found nearby  Poor. The man in the act of diving into a stream probably symbolizes the transition from life to death.
