Lion heads earrings from Capua and Herculaneum, replica in sterling silver and 18K gold plated from the original artefact cat. 6434 A-B, the Superintendence of Taranto. Inspired by the earrings from S. Maria Capua Vetere Inv. 24870, 24871, IV - III cen. B.C. 

The earrings, called cornucopia for their shape, decorated with lion protomes. The lion is a symbol of great life force, courage, pride and royalty.
