Hercules Farnese, bronze reproduction of the original statue carved by Lysippus (datable in the 4th century BC) then remade by Athenian Glycon in marble and is part of the collection Farnese at the National Archaeological museum of Naples.

The sculpture depicts Hercules resting after the twelve labors with the lion skin. Extraordinary hero emblem of courage, strength and cunning, he was represented in various ways, from busts to frescoes.
